WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DTC & RETRANSFER PRINTER?The total print area of the finished card is slightly smaller with DTC printing when compared with retransfer printing. DTC printing provides edge-to-edge coverage where images can be printed just up to the edges of the card & there is a slight margin between the card’s edge Retransfer printers prints over-the-edge where the entire card’s surface is coverage. With retransfer printing, there is no blank border at the edges of finished cards.
